Petpals Newbury. Pet sitting and pet boarding services include, dog walking, dog sitting, dog boarding, home visits for dogs, cats and small pets, puppy care, elderly dog care, home sitting, dog sitting, a pet taxi and pet to vet service.
Mark and Dawn have recently taken over from Christophe Larcher who launched Petpals Newbury in 2003 and are looking forward to a career in pet care. Both have grown up owning a variety of animals including dogs, cats, guinea pigs and budgies and currently own a German Shorthaired Pointer called Fred.
Mark and Dawn currently operate the business from Didcot but plan to move further south in the near future.
At Petpals we are fully trained, insured. Our pet sitting services are flexible and can be tailored to your pet’s individual needs. Our pet services include, dog walking, home visits for cats and small pets, puppy care, elderly dog care, home visits for dogs, home sitting, pet sitting and a pet taxi and pet to vet service.
Making use of the many areas found locally, our dog walking aims to give your dog a stimulating and enjoyable walk in a safe environment. These can be individual visits for your dog(s) and or multi walks, with up to four dogs at a time transported in our purpose fitted vehicles.
Our puppy and elderly pet care service offers you units of time during the day to visit your dog(s) at home. During the visit we walk your dog or puppy, play, and if required help with ongoing training, toileting breaks, etc., along with, of course, lots of TLC.
We offer a pet boarding and pet care experience where your dog can stay in the home of one of our carefully selected, dedicated carers. You will be given the opportunity to meet the pet boarding carer before you go away and to see where your pet will be staying. When your dog stays with a Petpals approved family they are treated as one of the family with all the usual sights, sounds and smells of family life, but best of all they will receive all the love, cuddles and attention they deserve!
Petpals Newbury has proven to be very popular with clients that want to leave their cats at home in there own environment, with familiar comforts and smells, particularly with elderly cats and cats that need medication. Our cat sitting service allows clients to go away safe in the knowledge that Petpals Newbury are visiting their cats to feed, clean litter trays if required, play, along with lots of TLC.
Our home based pet sitting service is a real alternative to kennels, your pets can remain in their own familiar surroundings, with their own routines and food while you are away.
Petpals Newbury also have varied experience in caring for small pets and exotics and are happy to provide home visits for these types of pets too.
Petpals Newbury are equipped with pet friendly vehicles fitted with specially designed safety cages of various sizes with a vet bed on top of removable rubber matting for hygiene. We can transport everything from small pets and cats to giant dog breeds such as Pyreneans. We can also help with trips to the vets.
Both Mark and Dawn are registered pet sitters who have completed training in the following:
Both have experience in the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme and are currently studying canine psychology.
In addition to cats and dogs, services for small pets such as chinchillas, hamsters, rabbits, fish, birds and exotics are available.
