We were founded in 2001 and since then have grown into 50+ individually owned businesses, operating under the Petpals franchise brand, across the United Kingdom (we’re always looking for more as well, please see our Franchise page for more details.)

Every single person working at Petpals is a true pet-lover, this is what makes us so good at what we do. We completely understand that sometimes work and life get in the way and people need a helping hand looking after their pets, which is where we come in.

As a pet care company we are the ultimate ‘one-stop-shop’ for looking after all your pets either on a daily basis or longer if you are going away on holiday or a business trip.

Daily Dog Walking

All of our Petpals franchisees offer a daily dog walking service, picking your dog up from your home in our branded vans, that are specially fitted with travel cages to ensure your dog’s safety (we also make sure there are plenty of clean towels and bowls of water in the van for a rub down and a drink after a particularly muddy walk!)

Cat Visits

For cats we offer a ‘cat visit’ service where we pop in once or twice a day to check all is well. We’ll of course feed him, clean out his litter tray and change over his toys (if he is a ‘toy’ kind of cat). We’ll also sit down and have a jolly good cuddle and a play with him if he is an affectionate sort. Equally if he prefers his space we’ll leave him to it.  (We know our place in the cat pecking order.)

Dog Home Boarding

For dogs we offer our famous home boarding service. Your dog will move into the home of the Petpals business owner, or one of their trusted pet carers, to be treated just like one of their family. They will get two walks a day (hey, it’s their holiday too you know!) and the same love and affection you would give them at home.

Small Animal Boarding

If you own any kind of caged animal that can be moved, our Petpals owners will take them to their house to stay, making sure they get plenty of cuddles and interaction while you are away. We regularly home-board guinea pigs, rabbits, chincillas etc. If moving them isn’t an option we will pop in daily to see them instead.

Puppy and Elderly Dog Visits

We also offer puppy and elderly dog visits, which gives us that extra bit of time to spend with these special members of the Petpals family and, should your pet need to be taken to the vets or delivered to friends and family, we offer a pet to vet or pet taxi service.

For your peace of mind all our Petpals owners and their carers are DBS checked, uniformed and fully insured.
