We'll arrange a meet & greet or a trial night if required, to ensure everything goes well.
We confirm the booking with the owner and the host and send a booking confirmation of the dog's exciting holiday.
The dog enjoys their home from home holiday with their host. The host will care for the dog as if it were their own, providing lots of cuddles and adventures.
After their paw-some holiday, the owner will collect their dog from the host.

Yes it is a legal requirement to hold a dog boarding licence to board dogs on your premises. This is something we will arrange for you.
We have a Primary Authority partnership via our membership with the Pet Care Franchise Association (PCFA) whereby we can obtain a Host Family Boarding Licence on your behalf.
We’ll also arrange for you to be fully insured, undergo a DBS check, complete a dog home boarding training course and a canine first aid course.
All costs involved in obtaining boarding licences, inspection fees, DBS checks, training etc. are covered by Petpals.
Yes! We understand people have different breed or size preferences. Therefore if you would like to board specific breeds or small or medium breeds only this can be arranged and we’ll match you with the right dog(s).
Yes, in order for you to obtain a dog boarding licence, you will need to have a secure garden that is considered safe and suitable for dogs, without hazards.
Yes, although we will be required to carry out a risk assessment to ensure the safety of your children and the dog(s).
Yes, owning others pets will not be a barrier, subject to a risk assessment.
This depends on your location. Each of our Petpals franchisees will pay an overnight allowance.
Absolutely! You will be on a self-employed basis and are therefore free to have other jobs. We will work around your schedule. However, dogs can not be left alone for any longer than 3 hours at any one time.
No, we work completely around your schedule in order to suit your lifestyle. There are no quotas to fulfil, no expectations of how many hours you can commit. You have full control over when and who you board in your home. We want it to be an enjoyable experience for both you and the dog.
Due to regulations, we are only permitted to board dogs from the same household at any one time. This means you will not be asked to board multiple dogs from different households.
