Mike Scott launches his Petpals operation in April 2006. He operates the business from Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, and covers the surrounding areas travelling to Mansfield Woodhouse, Warsop, Ollerton, Bilsthorpe, Ravenshead, Hucknall, and all outlying villages and hamlets.
Mike, after almost 10 years working as a design consultant, decided to change career to combine his love of animals and the outdoors, and also to allow him to spend more time with his family and Rhodesian Ridgeback - Kaiser.
Living in and around the Mansfield area for most of his life, Mike has owned, cared for, or had experience of a vast range of animals, from cats to dogs, stick insects to snakes, chickens to horses, even peacocks!
At Petpals we are fully trained, insured, and police checked. Our services are flexible and can be tailored to your pet’s individual needs
We can offer you time during the day to visit your dog(s). During the visit we walk, play, and if required help with ongoing training, along with, of course, lots of TLC. These can be individual visits for your dog(s) and or multi walks, with up to four dogs at a time transported in our purpose fitted van.
A real alternative to kennels, your dog can remain in it’s own familiar surroundings, with their own routines and food while you are away. An added bonus is a complimentary security service as your home will be visited daily until your return. Overnight stays are included in this service.
Petpals has proven to be very popular with clients that want to leave their cats at home in their own environment with familiar comforts and smells, particularly with elderly cats and cats that need medication. Our clients can go away safe in the knowledge that Petpals Mansfield is visiting their cats to feed, clean litter trays if required, and provide whatever comforts your cat requires.
Petpals Mansfield also have varied experience in caring for small pets and exotics and are happy to provide home visits and boarding services for these types of pets too.
At Petpals Mansfield we are equipped with a pet friendly van. The van is fitted with five safety cages of various sizes and vet bed on top of removable rubber matting for hygiene.
We can transport everything from small pets and cats to giant dog breeds such as Pyreneans.
We can also help with trips to the vets, your pet’s groomer, or full relocations nationwide.
