All Petpals training takes place at our headquarters in Andover, Hampshire. Our purpose-built facility provides the ideal environment for hands-on learning with live animals and comprehensive business training.
The core training program is 1 week of intensive training at our Andover headquarters. This is followed by three additional days of on-site launch support from your Regional Development Manager, in your territory.
The training covers four main areas:
Professional pet care skills for dogs, cats, small pets, and exotics
Business management, including accounting and QuickBooks
Marketing strategies and customer service
Territory management and growth planning
You’ll work with live animals under expert supervision and learn the proven systems that have made Petpals successful for over 20 years.
No prior experience is required. Our training program is designed to take complete beginners and develop them into confident pet care professionals.
The training is tailored to your background – if you need more pet care experience, you’ll receive additional animal handling coaching. If you need business support, your training focuses more on operational aspects.
Training is delivered by certified trainers who understand the requirements of running a successful Petpals territory. Our instructors combine practical pet care expertise with proven business knowledge gained from over 20 years of franchise operations.
Training costs are included in your franchise fee. The payment structure is:
£2,500 + VAT deposit to secure your territory
Balance of £10,000 + VAT due 6 weeks prior to your training week
Petpals provides comprehensive ongoing support, including:
3 days of on-site launch support from your Regional Development Manager
Periodic business development reviews during your first year
Annual reviews thereafter
Access to the head office team whenever needed
