Petpals - Sefton Dog Walker (Part Time)
Job Summary
Petpals Sefton is looking for a caring and reliable dog walker to join our team! As a trusted pet care specialist, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for our clients’ beloved pets. In this role, you’ll be the friendly and dependable presence that both pets and their owners can trust.
This is a part-time position focused on dog walking in the Sefton area. Initially on a zero-hours contract, with the potential to lead to a permanent position. Applicants should live in or around the Sefton area and have a full clean UK driving licence, with at least 3 years driving experience (company vehicle provided). Priority will be given to candidates who meet the essential criteria, with preference for those who also fulfil the desirable qualifications.
Hours of Work
- Part time
- £12.21 per hour
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 10am – 2pm.
Availability
- As required. Some weekend work may be required.
Experience
- Owned or looked after dogs (Essential)
- Understanding basic pet care requirements (Essential)
- Prior experience with working with animals (Desirable)
Qualifications
- Basic written English (Essential)
- Relevant qualification in pet care (Desirable)
Skills (All Essential)
- Willing and able to walk dogs in all weathers
- Able to walk dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Confident in handling dogs
