Job Summary
Petpals Stockport require host families for their dog home boarding service. We are looking for trustworthy, reliable pet lovers to provide a loving home environment as an alternative to boarding kennels, taking dogs into their homes as part of the family while their owners are away.
The successful candidate will meet the following essential criteria and preference will be given to those who also meet the criteria listed as desirable.
Availability
- Flexible, dogs will not need constant care and can be left occasionally for up to 3 hours.
Experience
- Owns, owned or looked after dogs and cats (Essential)
- Understanding basic pet care requirements (Essential)
Qualifications
- First Aid for Pets Certificate (Highly Desirable)
- Relevant qualification in pet care (Desirable)
Skills (All Essential)
- Willing and able to walk dogs in all weathers (Essential)

- Remain calm in an emergency
Other Requirements
- No children under the age of 5 (Essential)
- Any dog of your own must be fully socialised and neutered (Essential).
- Must have a secure garden (Essential)
