Petpals - Sidcup Cat Sitter (Part Time)

Job Summary

Petpals Sidcup are looking for a part time Cat Sitter to help primarily with cat and small pet visits in Sidcup and the surrounding areas. The main objective of the role will be to visit our client’s homes while they are away, looking after their pets, homes and gardens (if applicable). You will not be required to stay overnight in their homes.

It is essential that applicants live in or around the Sidcup, Bexley, Bexleyheath area. The successful candidate will meet the following essential criteria and preference will be given to those who also meet the criteria listed as desirable.

Hours of Work

Available 7 days a week between the hours of:
6.30am – 9am (morning visit)
and
3pm – 6pm (afternoon / evening visit)
Must be available during summer holidays, half terms, Christmas & New Year (Additional pay at weekends and bank holidays)

Experience

Owned or looked after cats (Essential)
Understanding basic pet care requirements (Essential)
Prior experience with working with animals (Desirable)

Qualifications

Basic written English (Essential)
Relevant qualification in pet care (Desirable)

Skills (All Essential)

Willing and able to care for outside pets in all weathers
To be able to care for our client’s pets and home as if they were your own

Honest and reliable
Flexible and Personable
Remain calm in an emergency

Other Requirements

Must have full clean UK driving licence, with at least 3 years driving experience
Should live in or around Sidcup
Own transport (Essential)
