New Petpals Franchise Opens in Halesowen

We’re delighted to officially welcome Andy Tierney, owner of Petpals Halesowen, to the Petpals family. Andy opened his new territory today, 19th January, and we’re thrilled to see Petpals’ trusted, professional pet care services now available to pet owners across the Halesowen area.
A lifelong love of animals
Andy has grown up surrounded by animals and has always shared a strong bond with pets of all shapes and sizes – from energetic dogs and curious cats to smaller furry companions. This lifelong love of animals, combined with a genuine desire to support local pet owners, inspired him to bring Petpals to the Halesowen community.
He understands first-hand the challenges many owners face with busy working lives, long hours or time away from home. That’s why Petpals Halesowen is focused on providing friendly, reliable and professional care, giving owners complete peace of mind that their pets are happy, safe and well cared for when they can’t be there.
Meet Andy
In Andy’s own words:
“I’m Andy, proud owner of this local, premium pet care service and a lifelong animal lover. My trusted companion is Marley, my loyal Cockapoo, who’s been by my side for years and reminds me daily just how much joy our pets bring to our lives.”
Before launching Petpals Halesowen, Andy spent 13 years serving in the British Army, followed by 11 years in the police – careers that shaped his strong values of trust, reliability and care for others. He later pursued a passion for acting, appearing in Peaky Blinders alongside Cillian Murphy as Billy the Barman, and as Mr Hale in the feature film Ray and Liz.
Born and bred in Aston, Birmingham, Andy is proud of his roots and brings a grounded, community-focused approach to everything he does – always happy to chat about pets, football, or life in general.
