Petpals announces launch of ‘Easy Start’ franchise purchase scheme
4th January 2019
In one of the biggest upgrades to our company since we sold our first territory in 2001, we have introduced a brand new way of purchasing a Petpals franchise.
No Large up-front fees
Traditionally, and still the case in most franchise operations, a franchisee fee is charged to purchase an exclusive territory, full training etc. This fee is due up front, on signing of the franchise agreement.
In the past, for anyone lucky enough to have savings or a redundancy payment, accessing £12,500 + VAT was achievable, but to the average person, living from wage packet to wage packet, it meant bank loans or in truth, making ownership of a Petpals franchise completely out of their reach. We thought this was wrong and we wanted to change it.
‘Easy Start’
So confident are we in our Petpals business model, that we’ve decided to turn things completely on their heads and introduce a ‘pay back as you earn’ scheme which we’ve called, ‘Easy Start’.
‘Easy Start’ does what it says on the tin, it gives you an easy start into buying a Petpals franchise.
Spread the Cost of franchise ownership
The cost of the franchise remains exactly the same, the training, support, marketing material you receive etc, everything is exactly the same.
The big difference is with Easy Start you pay back the £12,500 + VAT franchisee fee, spread over the terms of your agreement. So as you earn, you pay back.
Training and marketing fees
All we ask is that you make an initial payment of £7,500+vat to cover the cost of your initial training and launch marketing materials at the beginning. (You will of course also need to purchase a vehicle but that is not part of the franchise fee.)
Finally, owning a Petpals franchise and realising the dream of taking back control of their lives and building a business around their families, is in reach for many more people and we’re rather proud of that.
Is there money in pet care?
The UK pet care market is booming with consumers spending £4.62 billion on their pets in 2017 and we know, that using our tried and tested Petpals franchise model, we can help hundreds more people to build profitable, sustainable businesses.
We are currently the largest multi service pet care franchise operating in the UK today; we know what we’re doing and our longevity is testament to our experience and expertise in the sector.
Talk to our Petpals franchisees
Please don’t take our word for it though, read here what some of our 50+ franchisees have to say. If you decide to investigate the opportunity further we will encourage you to talk to as many of our existing franchisees as you like and will invite you to spend a day with one of them, finding out what life as a Petpals business owner is really like, warts and all.
Is’ Easy Start’ safe and legal?
Petpals are full members of the British Franchise Association, meaning we are committed to ethical franchising and that we won’t promote any business opportunity that has not been fully tried and tested and that we know can work. If you put in the hard work, we’ll provide the knowledge, support and guidance to help you succeed. We will also encourage you to have your franchise agreement checked by a franchise specialist solicitor before you sign it.
